HC-4 BLACK STALLIONS

Helicopter Combat Support Squadron FOUR was commissioned on July 1,1965.  Eight years later, the squadron assumed a new mission of Helicopter Anti-submarine Warfare and was renamed HSL-30. On May 6 , 1983 the HC-4 has been re-established, and thus were born the present-day "Black Stallions." After 24 years of service the squadron has been officially disestablished on Sept. 28 2007.
